Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor from Bahrain's Manama was brought up in the multicultural home of a family. Jacqueline's dad Elroy Fernandez is Sri Lankan. Her siblings include two brothers and one older sister. Her parents relocated to Bahrain in the late 1980s as a result of the Lankan tensions and she was raised in Bahrain. After completing the schooling in Bahrain she won a Scholarship at University of Sydney to pursue a Media and Communications Degree in Sydney, Australia. As a lover of all different cultures and languages, she took part in the Berlitz school of languages, in which she was able to learn Spanish and improved her French and Arabic. Miss Sri Lanka 2006 competed for Miss Universe 2006 as well as Miss Universe 2006 when she took home the title in 2006. In the wake of her winning the 2006 Miss Sri Lanka win, Padukone made her debut on television and hosted a program about Sri Lankan Business known as Lanka Business Report. Padukone was born to the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone. She was brought up in Bangalore and born in Copenhagen. While still a teenager, Padukone competed in a variety of National badminton competitions. She eventually gave up the sport when she decided to be a professional fashion model. Padukone is of Mangalorean background, and her mother tongue is Konkani. Padukone Village is situated within Kundapura Taluk within the Udupi Distric of Karnataka in India. Prakash Padukone's father was an international badminton champion who is now retired. Her mom is a travel agent.
